When discussing this proposal with interested parties, the following questions were asked and responded to. This is to assure prospective clients of our highest levels of service.
Absolutely - The service is completely confidential. Your projects are priced for your business, and we do not share which project you are working on with other providers.
If in doubt? - We can undertake pricing at your cost prices for you to add in your own margin afterwards. We don’t need to know your tender submission prices.
Cost effective commercial estimates - Completed quickly and economically priced, containing enough time and material information for reference, should it become a project.
Cat B commercial estimates - We can undertake the bespoke manufactured joinery estimates and/or seek prices from your suppliers and sub-contractors to tailor your estimate to the project requirements.
Budget estimates - At the project inception stage, we can provide guide prices of highly bespoke items for designers, to give them an example of the cost of these items during the initial design stages.
Value engineering - On our HUB we are hosting a bank of suppliers who can provide materials which may be of similar specification at a more cost-effective price when it becomes an estimating or project imperative.
Courtesy Estimates - The projects you don’t expect to win, but must to undertake to stay on the tender list.
The "Urgent" Estimates The estimates which come in with a narrow window which you feel obliged to return, but not break the bank pricing it.
Which estimate to choose? - The estimate you would like to undertake, but you are already snowed under and have to choose which to turn down.
The "Must Wins" - The estimate you really need to win and would like a second pair of eyes on it to find where there may be savings.
The Regulars - The valued client who seeks many prices for regular work but the conversion rate is low.
Bespoke Manufacturing Joinery/Interior Fit-Out Companies - Those companies looking to save on estimating costs by outsourcing additional but time consuming estimates if undertaken in house.
Project Management Companies - Those companies seeking prices to have a budgetary overview of a project based on industry rates.
Architects and Designers - If you are working with a client who is seeking early cost indications, we can provide a budget estimate in discussion with some of our manufacturing joinery clients and suppliers, to provide realistic indicative costs.
As we expand - There may be opportunities for existing estimators working from home who wish to be part of something new.
The Candidate – Ideally, estimators who would like to work from home. Please look at our careers page or send in your CV & Covering Letter to keep on file.
The Opportunity - The opportunity includes the use of an outsourced email address, cloud storage and accountancy support (where required) for self-employed estimators.
Work from home - No commuting in the morning. Make those hours productive instead and save money on the cost of the daily commute.
Set your own hours - Dropping the kids off at school or picking them up, a family emergency or medical appointment? It’s your business how you fit the role around it.
Paid for every hour you invoice - As long as you're invoicing hours which seem good value to the client, every hour is invoiced and payable. A lot different to a salaried position or hourly paid roles where hours can be "stretched" and unproductive. Neither model is efficient for the client, nor is it always rewarding to the estimator.
Outsourced Community Support - If one part of the country is busy and another quiet, we can send estimates from the busier areas into the quieter ones whenever possible.
Generally we would go out to our client supply chain where advised, however our clients are always interested in more competitive or equal or approved material types and prices.
You can advertise on Outsourced Hub(Coming Soon) - We provide inexpensive advertising space on our website for our estimator bank to use and also make you directly visible to our clients, so they may specify you.
All supplier material quotations sought during the estimating process are passed directly to our clients. Should they be successful, they may choose to accept your offer and place an order.
